Lady finger/Okara bhindi vegetable is a easy recipe as it hardly takes 15 to 20 mints
to make the same curry .This is a simple recipe which I learnt from my marvadi
friend and loved it so want to share, hope you all enjoy this recipe … shall we
start.
Ingredients -
Large onions – 2 sliced
Bhindi / lady finger – 500 grms
Salt as per
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp / as per
Haldi/ turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Refined oil - 3 tsp
Method of preparation –
Wash the lady finger 1 hour prior to do curry
So that they will dry
nicely, then cut them vertically.
Heat oil in a khadai, add cumin seeds if you desire
Fry the onions first ….
Then add ladies finger[chopped] with onions until golden color on medium and high flame
Once they are cooked / fried add seasonings per taste
Don’t cover with lid while frying
Serve hot with roties or for rice as side dish
Note - If ladies
fingetr is cooked with lid closed they
will become soggy as they are soft in texture.
