CARROT PARATHA

 Ingredients for  making carrot paratha -
Grated Carrot – grated 2 big sized carrot
Coriander leaves chopped – ½ cup
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – ¾ tsp
Jeera – ½ tsp
Salt as per
Finely chopped ginger – ½ ninch
Finely chopped curry – 1 tsp




Paratha dough method =

In a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, and oil. Mix all the ingredients well, add to this flour mixture and prepare dough just like the regular chapathi dough. Keep aside for about  30 mint’s.

How to prepare carrot paratha stuffing =

Squeeze out the water from grated carrot completely by pressing between both palms. Mix all the paratha ingredients – Grated carrot, coriander leaves, chilli powder, pepper powder, Jeera, Ginger and paratha ingredients – grated carrot, coriander leaves, chilli powder, pepper powder, jeera, ginger and salt with your hand. The paratha filling is now ready.


Take 2 small round sized dough balls. Roll those 2 balls into small puri sized dough roll,.



Spread evenly the filling on one of the rolled out dough and 

then place the other rolled out dough on the top to cover the one below. Then roll it out into medium thick paratha.



Cook it on a hot griddle or tawa 

and fry/ cook the carrot paratha 

on both the sides by applying 

enough ghee till the paratha turns 

crisp.
