There are different types of parathas which we see, but this one is most healthy food, which we have to take once in a while methi with panner one of different combination. We can make roti or like this also stuffed, try and check it out.
Ingredients –
Ø Whloe wheat flour – 2 glasses
Ø Salt
Ø Oil
For stuffing –
Ø Crumbled panner - 1/3 cup
Ø Fenugreek – 2tsp
Ø Finely chopped green chilies – 2
Ø Finely chopped tomatoes – ½ cup
Ø Salt – as per
In a mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix well and keep it aside
Use Butter to fry parothas
Method of preparation –
ü Combine wheat flour and salt together in a bowl and knead it to a soft dough by adding hot water {the dough should be like chapathi dough}
ü Take small portion of dough and press with the rolling pin like poori by dusting with the dry flour.
ü Place a dough circle on a flat dry surface and place 2 tsp of stuffing over it in the center of dough circle
ü Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.Roll out again into a circle with the help of a rolling pin by keeping dry flour under the stuffed round to roll easily with out stickking.
ü Place a roti tava on hot when hot add ½tsp of butter and place the prepared roti on tava and add ½tsp of butter on the other side also
ü And cook the both sides by adding butter till golden color on medium and low flame.
ü And transfer to a serving plate and serve hot which fresh curd.
ü Repeat the same with left over dough and stuffing .
