VAAM RASAM / AJWAIN RASAM

Ajwain is very good for health , with this spice we can make rasam ,once when I went my friend's house I ate this with steamed rice .

Ingredients = 

  • Fresh water - 2 glasses 
  • Tamarind - 1 inch size
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp 
  • Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek  seeds - 1/4 tsp 
  • Black pepper seeds - 1 tsp 
  • Jaggery - 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt as per taste 
Talimpu = 
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/3 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds - 1/3 tsp
  • Broken red chilli - 1
  • Curry leaves - 6 
  • Cilantro springs 
  • Ajwain - 2 tsp 
  • Oil - 1 tsp 

 Method of preparation =

  • Take a bowl pour water , add tamarind , turmeric , cumin seeds , coriander seeds , fenugreek seeds cilantro , curry leaves ,black pepper seeds , jaggery , ans salt and let it boil it 10 - 15 mint's 
  • In a sause pan add oil , and add all talimpu ingredients in order and fry for two mint's and add to the boiling rasam and still boil for four to 8 mint's and serve hot to the steamed rice .
