MASALA GODUMA APPALU [ BREAK FAST ]


When you feel bore of regular tiffins with curries and rotis , we can make this type of tiffin's  very easy to make .Learnt  from my elder sister who lives in adoni as they are Favorits of  food .

 Ingredients = 
  • Wheat flour - 1 glass 
  • Rice flour - 1 glass
  • Grated carrot - 2 - 3 
  • Green chillies - 3 - 4 
  • Soaked bengal gram / chana dal - 5 tsp
  • Roasted and soaked peanuts - 6 tsp 
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 
  • Oil - 3 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / cilantro springs - 1 small cup
  • Curry leaves - 6 - 9 
  • Onion - 1 - finely chopped 
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tsp 

Method of preparation = 
  • First soak chana dal / bengal gram in fresh water , 
  • Dry peanuts and peel their skin and soak in enough water,
  • Chop onions finely ,grate carrot , 
  • Grind greenchillies and salt..............
  • In a mixing bowl add wheat flour ,rice flour ,grounded chilli paste ,grated carrot,chopped onion,soaked chana dal,ground nuts,chilli powder,salt,curry leaves chopped,cilantro springs ,garlic and ginger paste with enough water so as to get like a chepathi dough .

  • Rest the dough for 10 to 15 mint's  and make small balls .Take a plastic paper / milk packet paper ,keep small drop of oil and keep one ball and press with fingers small poori ...............

  • If  atta  is stikking your hand  touch your hands with little oil and press so it won't stick your hand ,
  • Now heat roti pan and add 1/4 tsp oil , as pan get's hot take roti from plastic paper and place on hot pan 

  • Put oil 1/4 tsp around roti and turn after little time / when the border get golden color and turn to other side 


  • Like this repeat the same to  the other left over  dough and fry like this and serve hot .
