VEGETABLE RICE ROTI [ MIXED VEGI AKKI ROTI / BIYYAM PINDI ROTI ]

Akki roti is very traditional dish in karnataka and these people eat very less spice and very sweet going people .and I learnt this dish from my very opposite house aunty  as I ate once in their house , so I want to  share my recipe with you all friends.Rice flour as now a days we get ready made in the markets we can use that one as I did - now recently I made rice flour in near by machine by washing rice at home twice and dried on  a cloth for one day and took to the machine near by and made flour from the rice .With that rice flour I made roti (ie.)akki  it tastes  super . So it is your wish you can use any thing .


Ingredients = 
  1. Rice flour - 3 - 4  cups 
  2. Onion - 1/2 chop { finely chopped }
  3. Carrot - 1/2 cup { grated }
  4. Fresh coconut - 1/2 cup { grated }
  5. Spring onions - 1/4 cup { chopped }
  6. Bell pepper / capsicum - 1/4 cup { chopped finely }
  7. Green chillies - 5 { chopped finely }
  8. Cilantro - few { chopped }
  9. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp 
  11. Channa dal - 1 tsp  
  12. Salt
  13. Oil - for frying 

Method = 

In a big mixing plate  add all ingredients including rice flour and mix well 



.........with warm water kend well to make soft dough .






Take big orange sized ball of the dough ,On the non-stick pan pat it with hands to make roti 
wetting your hands with fresh water as much thickness you wish and lit the stove on fire and add few drops of oil around the roti .
Cook well on the both sides by turning and frying 5 mint's each side until golden color 
And transfer to the serving plate .
Repeat the same process with the left over mixed flour.
