PUDINA PODI [ FOR RICE ,IDLY , DOSA ]

Pudina is very good for health .

Ingredients = 

  • mint - 2 cups 
  • chana dal - 1/4 cup
  • urad dal - 1/4 cup
  • ground nuts - 1/4 cup
  • cumin seeds - 2 tsp
  • garlic pods - 6- 7 
  • red chillies - 4 - 5 
  • salt as per taste 
Method of preparation = 
  • Peel and crunch  garlic pods .
  • Pluck and wash and dry mint leaves .
  • In a shallow pan , add dried mint leaves and fry on low flame until they dry .[ not much ]
  • Heat oil 1 tsp in a pan , separately fry all  ingredients like chana dal, urad dal , ground nuts,cumin seeds , red chillies and keep aside to  cool to room temp.... until aromatic ..................................
  •  Grind all ingredients in a blender into a fine powder .
  • After some time store the powder in a tight jar .................................
