CAPCICUM AND ONION FRITTERS

Capcicum /bell pepper with onion fritters are not very spicy which are liked by children and suitable for dal rice as a side dish .

Ingredients - 

  • besan - 1 cup
  • bell pepper - 1/2 
  • onion - 1 small
  • curry leaves - 10
  • cilantro springs few
  • red chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
  • salt as per taste 
  • soda - bi - crab a small pinch 
  • ajwain / vaamu - 1/4 tsp
  • rice flour - 3 tsp 
Method of perparation - 

Wash and remove ends , discard seeds and thinly sherd the bell pepper 
Wash and peel the onion and thinly sherd them 
Wash and cut curry leaves and cilantro springs into pieces 

In a mixing bowl ,mix together rice flour, besan ,red chilli powder , salt ,ajwain , curry leaves , cilantro springs ,soda - bi - crab 
Add chopped  bell pepper , and onion and mix well by spinkling water 
Mix carefully so that the flour stick to the bell pepper [ don't use more water ]
The bell pepper and onions sherds are still separate and set it rest until oil will be heated 

Heat oil in deep frying pan on high and medium flame
When oil is hot low the flame and drop bell peppers mixture in the hot oil  with hands
Fry around few mint's and turn and fry until bell peppers turn into golden color 
Remove  bell peppers crispy crispy on to absorbent paper .
Repeat the same with rest of the mixture .
Serve these fritters with steamed rice as side dish .
