Budamkaya is very healthy and tasty vegetable , they call dosakaya in some places but in our area we call budamkaya .We can make so many recipes with this and types of pachhadi but now we learn very easy recipe and very tasty one so shall we start .

Ingredients =
- Budamkaya - 1 {peeled and remove seeds and chop into pieces}
- Green chillies - 3 - 4
- Tamarind - 1/2 inch
- Dry coconut - grated - 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Garlic - 2 pods
Thalimpu -
- urad dal - 1/4 tsp
- mustard seeds - 1/3 tsp
- cumin seeds - 1/3 tsp
- hing - a pinch
- curry leaves - 9
- oil - 1- 2 tsp
Method of preparation -
- In miksi jar add coconut ,salt , cumin seeds , tamarind , green chillis ground into fine paste
- Next add chopped budamkaya pieces coarsely grind and shift to the bowl
- Next heat a pan add oil when hot add thalimpu ingredients when became golden color add to the prepared pachhadi and serve with steamed rice hot and with little ghee .
