Ingredients -
- Snake gourd - 3 -4 [ if they are small ] or 1 long one fresh one
- Coconut grated - 1 cup
- Green chillies - 5 - 4
- Cilantro few
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1- 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/3 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/3 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 9
Talimpu -
- Wash and cut the snake gourd and remove seeds chop the snake gourd into fine half circles thin slices....
- Remove stems ,wash and finely chop green chillies .
Method of preparation -
- coarsely ground green chillies,cilantro,salt
- In the preheated pan , add oil and all talimpu ingredients and once starts splutter , add chopped snake gourd and fry on medium flame until light golden color or until soft
- Then add grounded chilli paste and fry on low flame for more 5 mint's
- Finally add grated coconut and stir well and serve with hot hot steamed rice or roti
